Airtable Web API

Create a token in Personal access tokens or use the pre-scoped new-token link from the MCP CLI docs. Choose the scopes and bases/workspaces the token may access. Send it as Authorization: Bearer <token>. Airtable's Authentication docs say PATs are for personal development and are managed at /create/tokens.

Register an OAuth integration in Builder Hub OAuth integrations. Configure your redirect_uri, choose the needed scopes, then use Airtable's OAuth flow to obtain access tokens for users. The OAuth reference says you can find your client_id and manage redirect_uri and scopes there. For MCP clients, Airtable also supports Dynamic Client Registration at https://airtable.com/oauth2/v1/register; many MCP clients can register automatically and only require the user to approve access in the browser.
