Use Google Cloud authentication to obtain an access token for your own Google Cloud principal. The easiest paths documented by Google are to sign in with the Google Cloud CLI via `gcloud auth login` for user credentials, or use Application Default Credentials via `gcloud auth application-default login`. For this API, the REST method docs list the required OAuth scope as https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform.
